The Vivo G2, an entry-level 5G smartphone with a 90Hz LCD, 15W charging, and a dimmable 6020, was unveiled.
With the release of the Vivo G2, the company has once again entered the market for entry-level smartphones. This device, which is primarily targeted at the Chinese market, is powerful due to its Dimensity chipset, smooth 90Hz refresh rate screen, and large 5,000 mAh battery with 15W charging. It’s interesting to note that these specs are similar to those of the December-released Vivo Y36i.
The Vivo G2’s 6.56-inch IPS display, which has an impressive 90Hz refresh rate and HD+ quality, is located front and center. A little waterdrop notch on the front of the phone holds a 5MP front-facing camera with low resolution. When you flip the device, you can see a 13MP primary camera for taking pictures.
The Vivo G2’s software is based on the Android 13 operating system and has OriginOS 3, which has a user interface that is a year outdated yet still easy to use. The base model costs CNY 1,199 (~USD 168/PKR 47,000) and comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users who want more power and storage can get the CNY 1,899 (~USD 267/PKR 74,000) 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option. The company is still carving out a place for itself in the market for low-cost smartphones with the Vivo G2.
